UNO Theta Chi HistoryBrothers, The UNO chapter is rapidly approaching a very special moment in its history, its 60th anniversary of its founding. As we get closer I thought we should take a look back at some important events in the past, starting with our founding.
Theta Chi Delta Zeta Chapter is the oldest Greek organization on the University of Nebraska at Omaha campus. Founded in 1910 as the A.T.C. club, this group of men has flourished for all but two years of the university's existence. The name was changed to Phi Sigma Phi Fraternity. In 1950 the group became members of Theta Chi Fraternity. All throughout the growth of the university, the Theta Chi Delta Zeta Chapter has established it self through leadership, brotherhood, and tradition. Theta Chi Fraternity Delta Zeta Chapter also hosts the oldest and longest still running Greek event on campus, The Theta Chi Olympics.
